SHARKMEN’ Synopsis
The Sharkmen is a gritty hard-edged look at the world of organised crime. Merciless killing is the main ingredient for the everyday hitman; but none make it look so easy than an infamous group who has been dubbed the “Sharkmen”.
The Sharkmen are a workhorse group of 5 hitmen who have formed a loyal bond among one another, and have become the cause of envy and fear throughout the underworld.
This world takes a turn for the worst when one of the Sharkmen is murdered. The group sets off on a rampage to find those responsible and won’t stop till they’re satisfied.

As tensions amid the four rise it becomes apparent their captive is not all he appears, and redemption takes a back seat to survival. Shot in a highly stylized mix of film noir and live action anime, Loyalty pushes the visual envelope and is full of great characters, black humor, bone crunching violence and a captivating story. Upon qualifying was based at HMS Drake, on the Plymouth bomb and mine disposal team; served on Mine hunters (HMS Bildeston). Served during the Falklands War on MV Stena Seaspead, undertaking battle damage and salvage roles on ships of the fleet that were damaged as a result of Argentine bombs and Missiles.
Was one in the first group of men to be flown back to the United Kingdom in order to undertake specialist training to go back to the Falkland Islands and recover N.A.T.O top secret documents and war codes from the sunken ship H.M.S Coventry.
This was undertaken at a depth of over 300 ft- quite a dangerous exercise- with divers having to deal with underwater explosions, as well as the difficulty of removing documents via continued excursions deeper into the ship’s burnt and damaged interior.
Awarded the active service medals Falklands Island + Rossette and Northern Island active service medal.

Deciding to leave the Royal Navy for the worst of reasons, namely money,I found myself working for Comex Diving as a deep sea Saturation diver in the North Sea.
This entailed flying out to the oil rigs in helicopters from the Scottish city of Aderdeen and undertaking long hours in the water-up to thirteen hours at a time-at depths of 500ft.
Earnt plenty of money and was driving a bright red Porsche at the age of twenty- three, and spent two years in what became an increasingly unsatisfactory way to spend the rest of my life. I left the world of helicopters, oil rigs, big money, flash cars and dangerous work and headed back to Australia to see what opportunity might present from the change of country.

Met my wife in Townsville and started a family, established a successful business in the building industry , but as time passed and both my parents died, I started searching for answers to life’s great questions…
Who am I?
What does a life add up to?
And whats life’s purpose?
My quest lead me to start a course in practical philosophy, at The Brisbane School of Practical Philosophy, a member of a worldwide organisation comprising over fifty schools.

Having spent over thirteen years at the school to date, it has shown me a whole new way a life can be lived: without getting caught up to much in the play of life, accepting what presents and dealing with it using wisdom and not a habitual reaction.
ie.” Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.”
With this philosophy, I joined the Renaissance Theatre Company associated with the School, and with much trepidation set out to study the wisdom of the William Shakespeare in the play “Loves Labours Lost”.

This step through the door of fear seemed to free an invisible shackle that I had put around what I percieved was my self, and illuminate the limited idea I held about who I was. Being on stage brought clarity and freedom from this limiting little self I had identified for years.
Philosophy was a great tool to happiness and freedom in acting and in life. That was over nine years ago, and fear may still arise from time to time, but through a continued practice of self awareness, the fear is a distant whisper compared with the overpowering panicked scream it used to be.
I have since gone onto perform principal roles in other plays and feature films, and acted in over 35 short films and commercials, I discovered a real creative passion that quite possibly could have remained undiscovered under a blanketing idea of who I thought I was….. so ask yourself the question: Who are you?
